Just wanted to remind you that there is a war going on out there. One between the consumers and the profit hungry record companies. About a year ago, the first copy protected cds were released and still today they haven’t given up this path. Even though the discs are unplayable on most “computer based” products (like PCs, Dvd players etc), have an uncertain life span and on top of this are audibly crippled they just go on and on.
The latest of their tricks (which according to user reports has already been implemented even though it is in fact illegal) is btw “cyber warfare” using spoofed files and DOS-attacks. Maybe they should cut the price of a cd in half and quit playing around. What is next? Are you going to be attacked in the street with a baseball bat if you have downloaded a couple of albums off the internet?
