Still haven’t figured out this one. After consulting with Abit tech. support I now know that the BX6 CAN in fact do WOL. And so can the NIC (Fa312). For some reason WOL relies on ACPI these days - and something isn’t on the level with that. Could be the Sigma Designs H+ card or the Quantum CY hard drive. Not that I can really toss them out to test this because then I wouldn’t have a working HTPC. If I’m lucky maybe it is one of these peripherals that is interfering the the Sigma Designs Remote as well. Oh, how tedious …
