As I noted previously, Spider-Man failed to appear at the local cinema complex. This is a bit old but thanks to the assholes at Columbia Tristar (or Sony or whoever owns the rights) MIB2 suffered the very same fate. Just to be clear about this - neither Spider-Man nor MIB2 will NEVER EVER have a cinematic release (again this is local event relating to Skövde but I doubt it is by any means unique).
And why? Because the pimps at Columbia decided they wanted more money for broadcasting their movies. You see, the once ignored “rural” (for lack of a better word) cinema was upgraded lately to boast the lastest in audio and video as well as cinematic comfort. And it apparently became a little to comfy for Columbia. The math is pretty simple for theese people. Comfy chairs and digital sound = a higher price for each movie. Even if you are out in nowhere running a relatively small cinema.
Feel free to check out the cinema and the current listing.
To any and all people involved in movie dist. and Columbia/Sony specifically, I would like to say this - I leeched the movies off the internet instead. Now, do you still think you did a smart move and came out profiting from this? Thanks for the movies and have a nice day! Morons …
