There is a very nice walkthrough/essay on how to build a HTPC over at Secrets of Home Theater High Fidelity. Nice to see that we agree on at least some things.

And, with the help of dvdforum I found this, apparently the only real supplier of custom HTPC cases and complete setups in Sweden(?). 4000SEK for a case is a little excessive though, and I don’t care that they laser cut the entire thing.
This does provide inspiration on how I can simplify MY design a little. Hehe. There are really a million different ways to make a simple geometric box but in reality I am limited by manufacturing cost and time. I.e. complexity.
