I got a package from Djangos taxed. Yes indeed. For the first time ever. I lack the capacity to tell what I feel. I can only resort to profanity …
51 + 63 + 25 = 139 SEK for two USED items totalling 206 SEK. That is just so fucking typical. I have been so busy calling people and complaining all day I haven’t had time to actually collect the package. That is what I eventually will have to do anyway.
This is by accident also the package that contains Escaflowne. Damn! If anyone remembers, Escaflowne had a couple of bad batches shipped and this is not something that is easy to determine. The disc has to be played and you obviously have to be aware of the problem and the exact timing. So there is a good chance Djangos shipped a defective product. I will of course not know this until I pay for the extra fees. The question is if Djangos will refund me the extra fees if I have to return the product. *Sigh*
Another grave violation of civil rights is that the postal service does NOT cover damaged LETTERS. I know I’m calling it PACKAGE all the time but technically it is not. At least not when it enters this country. So if an item is damaged there is really nothing you can do but to demand a return-to-sender and hope that they are civil enough to replace the content. But that is sort of easier before you sign for the package .. and it is not technically yours. The question is if you can demand that the postal service pays for return shipping even under these conditions.
Don’t expect me to accept this! I’m going to fight this borderline civil disobedience, intimidation and destruction of private property. Or terrorism if you want a word for it. The only options that are open for me in a society that does not respect my integrity ..
I have a couple of options left before turning to brute force though. I’m not ready to abandon all hope in the democratic system just yet. But the threshold for anarchy is nearing.
