The MediaBOX chassis is ready. Finally! For some reason it turned up in 2mm aluminium instead of 2mm steel. Don’t ask me why …
There are a couple of imperfections to iron out before I install any hardware though. Like threads of some sort for a couple of the holes, cloth brushing and the transparent (gloss) spray surface. But I think it will be alright once it’s done. Too bad I can’t produce any pictures of the BOX. This probably makes it the lamest HTPC project on the net … Take a peak at the AutoCAD drawings in the Gallery if you are curious.

A few more DVDs arrived. No taxes or anything. But then again, these were correctly declared. It is pretty obvious why the last package got thumbed on. Regarding that package, I haven’t gotten around to filing an official complaint yet. But I will. Trust me … this will cost them more than they ever earned taxing my property. Djangos will get another mail about this as well.
