This is sure a tough choice. It’s time to act in the gfx card matter, but DX9 keeps eluding me. The 9500 isn’t in stores yet and it is the only mid-priced card with DX9 support. While it is not much faster than the Ti4200, the latter obviously lacks both DX9 support AND good AA.
And where the hell is NV30 anyway? Q12003 is not good enough. I want a release date. And furthermore, will there even be a mid-priced version of the NV30 coming out in Q1? Or just the $400 high-end model? There are a lot of questions alright ..
Whatever. Since the MediaBOX is offline I can just as well keep my cool for a couple of more weeks and see what happens with the 9500.
