I found this fascinating view on religious belief, Ending Biblical Brainwash. “For better mental and cultural health, it’s time we classified religious fundamentalism as a psychological disorder”.
This is by far the best description of religion I have seen in quite a while. And I couldn’t agree more. I think it is time we took action and weeded out those undesirable elements from our culture. Very much like a faulty gene would and should be replaced or tweaked (if possible) to cure an illness.
