You know you have too much time on your hands when …
.. you search out old Hasbro Transformers toys.

Everyone remembers the Transformer robots, right? “More than meets the eye”. They were an enormously successful series of comics and toys in the mid 80s.
Ok, anyway. I remember once when I spent an entire day phoning toys stores all over the country, trying to locate the Scorponok Transformer. I must have been like 12 or so and I took the task very seriously. Sadly I was out of luck and now I know why. This particular model hardly ever entered circulation, even on the american market.

Maybe it is time to deal with the demons of the past? My collection of Transformers is pretty insignificant and I can’t really claim to own any really rare or otherwise special units. Still, the thought of the good old days is enough to send me browsing through endless cardboard boxes in search of the precious toys. As a matter of fact, I’m off right now …
