The rocket pack is dead but the SoloTrek still lives. And now they have posted a series of photos from the hover tests. Cool idea, but it could use a face lift. And as they call it an “exoskeleton”, I am curious as to why you can’t actually walk around with the machine on your back. It’s too heavy obviously, but I expected to see some sort of clever weight distribution system . More like Robocop and less like a wheelchair .. Just imagine how stupid you would look if the damn thing tipped over while touching down.

Apparently, the concept design is for sale on eBay. Only $1.000.000 on the terms that the buyer never fire up the engines and go for a spin.
