You could really go crazy just looking at the new line of Logitech cordless products. Just like the Cordless joystick to the left. While I’m not so sure it is all that comfortable to use, the design more than makes up for ergonomics.

While browsing through the Logitech site I realized that they also offer a cordless web cam, a cordless rumblepad and tons of other stuff like obviously the good old series of cordless mice and trackballs (like the Trackman Optical that I have on order). They must have really hit a jackpot with that RF transmission technology.

Considering that the game controllers and trackballs are priced between $60-70 I really don’t see a reason not to go cordless instead of wired. Even hardcore gamers shouldn’t be disappointed. The new MX700 cordless mouse for example has been tested on quite a few sites so far and seems to work surprisingly well with games and other applications that require high bandwidth and fast updates.

Pointless stating of facts, I know, but this cordless frenzy really got me worked up. Hehe. Time to exercise some self-control before I buy anything else from Logitech
