A Field Guide to Battlefield 1942 (from the Plane Newb to the Color Guard and Mad Bomber). In essence what you SHOULDN’T do when playing BF1942.

If your are like me and just picked up the game more or less (due to a new TnL gfx card) then a proper strategy guide is in order. I would recommend the dead soldier series over at PlanetBattlefield. You wouldn’t believe how long it took me to get out of the landing crafts (open the front hatch) or just deploy a parachute. I suppose I qualify as a Plane Newb for the moment. I rule with the Sherman or Panzer though.
