Finnish Music Industry Wants Kindergardens to Pay for Singing. Is it a prank? Not necessarily. The idea is stupid of course BUT I like the initiative. Why? Well, it pisses people off and undermines the credibility of the music industry. They are digging their own grave with stuff like this and I’ll be sure to dance the rumba on it when they are done digging.
Information can not be monopolized. The industry should be happy that they are still selling records at all. Considering the quality and price of music these days. Going after preschool children is really low. The point may even be indoctrination .. what gives them the right to brainwash your kid into becoming a perfect obedient consumer and a slave under the same wretched ideas of intellectual property?

The good news is that the kids can still get the songs for free on the internet.
