And this is just the embryonic stage of a much larger trend: Our future will be inexorably tied to the Cyber Realm. There is little doubt that the human species will evolve into cyborgs. As engineer and futurologist Bart Kosko has aptly proclaimed, “Biology is not destiny. It was never more than tendency. It was just nature’s first quick and dirty way to compute with meat. Chips are destiny.”
