I just noticed that Bluesnews and TribalWar have started speculating about the possibility of a Tribes 3 game. Apparently, the Sierra PR Manager had claimed that “.. we will be announcing the next Tribes game on April 24th ..”.
Very cool indeed. I have always loved the Starsiege games but never been able to play them very well. Back in the days of Tribes 1, my computer was just too damn slow (and lacked 3d acc) and I had no broadband access for that matter. I missed out on Tribes 2 because my new setup was still too slow back then. And when I finally got the present setup with broadband I find out that Tribes 2 is jusr crap on the Radeon series gfx cards. Hopefully Tribes 3 will be out before I have to renew my setup once more

In the meantime, you can always be on the look-out for Planetside. I would prefer if Planetside could be scaled down and played on private servers as well as in MMORPG mode, but I have no information on this. I think it is unlikely that we will see this.

On a sidenote, I see that there is now a no-cd patch for Unreal 2 v1403 over at GameCopyWorld.
