CNN: Massive online sky survey completed

The 2MASS project is finally done. Basically, it is a high-resolution digital survey of the universe as seen from our planet. Talk about “shock and awe”. Ok, not really … but it does remind you of what insignificant little specks we all are and how futile our daily lives seem on a cosmic scale.
