Not too shabby considering how old the gfx feels. Could have used an overhaul when they converted it. The Playstation 2 is waaaay behind the pc platform nowadays. The 80s sound track is so amazing. At least if you dig 80s music like I do. Otherwise it will be unbearable I guess
Vice City certainly works better than GTA3 did. But on the other hand I have a new gfx card these days. Hard to tell. Rockstar must have learnt something from the GTA3 PC fiasco.
It’s a damn shame you can’t play it in multiplayer or any other type of game mode. It would have helped the game. Now all you can do is get bored with it and wait for Carmageddon 4 or GTA 4 or something. I don’t know what I have against this game.
Maybe it’s just too superficial, too much of an arcade feeling. The weapons handling still sucks for instance. And hand to hand combat feel like a drunk fight. Or maybe it’s the fact that you spend far too much time on every map. The open ended game play is still the best reason to get this game. And besides, the Vespas rock. Hehehe.
