Tried to log on but my server (Emerald) was offline. For some reason you can’t move characters between servers. Stupid. I created a new character on another server just to try the gameplay. Laggy as hell. Worst experience to date. Even though the server had sub 200 ms ping times. God damn jerky, even if there were no other players around for miles (literally, it’s a big game you know).

I REALLY love this game. I would like to continue to develop my abilities in this world. But in the present condition I will never be able to play it. It’s a damn shame. I’m not giving up on it just yet (the beta lasts for another couple of days) but I fear that “down the drain” will be the final verdict for this otherwise fine product.

I also fear that another set of servers based in Amsterdam will not do the trick for me. Unless someone sets up a Scandinavian server there will be little improvement. It also remains to be seen if network lag is all that is causing this disturbance. Or if the problem is indeed more serious than this.
