I thought I would make a short list of some of the excellent sites that utilize BitTorrent.

Aix Gaming - Nice site that pointed me to BitTorrent in the first place. They currently provide some juicy E3 trailers for all gaming junkies out there. Half-Life 2, DOOM 3, HALO PC trailers.

Torrentse.cx - A growing collection of files. Mostly porn

Gettorrents.tk - Offline at the moment. But worth checking out. MASSIVE link database of other BitTorrent sites.

Bittorrent.bounceme.net - Less porn and more serious stuff like comics. Ahaha. Ok, ok. They have lots of WWE and Friends episodes also. Maybe they aren’t that serious after all.

Animesuki.com - For all your Anime needs. Tons of quirky series that I’ve never heard of. That is probably because they are unlicensed (that is still on the air in Japan).

The beauty with BitTorrent is that it is so focused on individual files. Not like DC or Kazaa or whatever where millions of files are in circulation. You get a certain filtering this way. Ppl only add files that they feel are worthwhile. More quality and less quantity. Plus the hosts have 100% control of what they want to share. At least if they are the only ones to add origin files. Get it while it lasts. Main before big brother finds out and also before the networks are swarmed with crap like so many others.

BitTorrent is just perfect for trailers and other single file distributions. It really shines when it comes to hard to get game trailers such as for example Half-Life 2. I don’t know how else I would have come by those seven E3 trailers. Probably via DC. But with BitTorrent I was able to download the files instantaneously and at full 512kbps speed.
