Hehe. I finally figured out how to open those pesky .cbz and .cbr files (without renaming them and unpacking them manually that is). The answer is CDisplay Comic Reader.
I couldn’t understand why ppl insisted on distributing comic scans in the above formats. Now it kind of makes some sense. At least when you’ve got like 200 magazines on a cd.
And another hat tip. If you want to know when and if a certain comic has been scanned and filed, I would recommend either cscans.com or comics.org. As for finding comics to download I was amazed how much of this stuff that exists on BitTorrent sites.
