Not exactly news if you’ve been pinned to the nforce tracker for the last couple of days. The beauty of it was that someone started seeding it via BitTorrent on a certain webpage. A couple of hours later there was a re-encoded divx version being seeded. Suffice to say I’ve never seen so many ppl falling over each other trying to download the same file. Just wait until the major news outlets pick this up … just remember the story about Matrix Reloaded and BitTorrent …

The movie will be out later this month in the US (06/20/2003). Swedish release date is still 07/09/2003. From what I could tell the workprint that leaked was a pretty good copy. Quite enjoyable. Still, didn’t download the complete movie. I already have the cinematic year all planned and watching The Hulk on mpg/divx would ruin the entire thing. I must have something to look forward to you know.
The important thing is that those who did bother with this pre-release were quite impressed. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. What could possibly go wrong with Ang Lee at the helm?
