Thanks for the reminder. The site went offline during the night. Only days after it had been upgraded and brought back online after a long downtime.

The site torrentse.cx recieved a cease and desist letter during the day of Wednesday, July 16, 2003 for copyright infringement. The entire website has been removed and will not return.

Hopefully they will return under a new domain in the near future. It seems to me all this happened a little too easy. Anyway. The list of GOOD BitTorrent sites is growing thin. Hopefully someone will have the courage to resist the corporations. Damn. It has been a good couple of months.
And if you’ve been wondering, the .cx domain is that of Christmas Island. Kind of pointless to try to figure out where Torrentse had it’s base of operations then. I suppose they must have existed within the boundries of the american judicial system. I don’t know of many others that would willingly become the lackeys of the Media Industry.
