Ok so the final movie is still almost a year away. Details of the production and character design are starting to come out at last. Seems like the villain will be seriously upgraded to no less than Dr. Octopus. Good choice. I never liked either of the goblins much anyway.
The alternative poster is groovy. It’s strange to imagine Alfred Molina as Otto Octavius but what the hell. The design looks like it is going to kick ass.

Sam Raimi even bothered to debunk a couple of popular rumours about the plot. There certainly are some interesting stories to choose from, many of which have worked surprisingly well both in the comic and animated series.

Just imagine the potential. Lizard, Venom, Kingpin, Black Cat .. the list go on forever. I would really like to see a new version of Kingpin. Maybe with the same actor as in Daredevil (Duncan) but ten times less sissy and hiring far better henchmen.
