Oops. I must have blinked and missed this one last week. Season 8 has been confirmed by the Sci-Fi Channel. Pretty impressive actually considering how many series get cut down before they make it to the second or third season. This makes SG-1 the second longest running sci-fi series ever, only one season behind The X Files.
