The week in downloads

A measly 15 GB. Shame on me.
Started to really dig into Ghost in the shell: Stand-alone project. This series is so damn beautiful. And amazingly well put together. Being an offspring from the GITS movie which in turn originates from the GITS manga, many had prophesied its failure. But not so.

Is this supposed to be summer or what? So far the weather has been pretty crappy. It really gets me down sitting in the wee hours of the morning, watching the grey skies and droplets hastily chasing down glass windows into oblivion.

LOTR Two Towers Extended

Will be released on November 18. It will be a 4 disc set similar to the Fellowship. See official info for specifications. It seems that the extended cut is no less than 40 min longer compared to the theatrical release. Groovy.

EFF file-sharing campaign

At last it seems that ppl are taking a stance in the conflict. EFF is one organization that has been more or less silent in the past. Now they try to counter the recent threats made by the RIAA.
