Has officially started. I’m having mixed feelings about it. Still dragging some courses from last year (yeah you guessed it, the boring ones that I deemed as pointless). Quite frankly I don’t like when things get too abstract and out of hand. This term I’m beginning with a level two course in sociology. Hopefully it will be more enlightening than the level one course. That one felt more like a history lesson. And even if I understand the need for it I find it frustrating and obstructive. I could really need a “Marxism and fuzzy idealistic philosophy for dummies”. Or I might just try to skip ahead a little and hope I never have to concern myself with such unrealistic aspects of society in the future.
Once more the layout of this subject is heavily based on group activities with seminars. That is probably the most difficult thing of all. I mean, just being in a group is one thing, but actually producing something to spec. is another. Then again, maybe it’s just me.

I’m not much for chatting about weather but it has been downright awful this past week. Even when the rain has stopped pouring it has been way below normal temperature for the season. All in all deeply depressing. There is a long and dark autumn coming and I could really need the extra light. Btw. Still haven’t gotten anywhere with the fl. tube project. This should serve as a reminder to self.

Also, IKEA has yet to contact me. I’m growing a little impatient here. My place looks like a mess and I’m eager to resolve the situation.

Still working on Stargate SG-1. Should be finished with season four in the morning. Still no DVD burner though. Once again I must note what a pleasure it is to watch that series. Certainly ranks as one of the best tv series ever. Still, as you can imagine, just watching the episodes sucks up a lot of my time.
