From SUPRNOVA of course.
Interesting sneak peak into the game. Although finding other players is a problem at the moment. I have no idea to what extent this beta represents the final game but there were a couple of snags that I don’t like. To begin with a think that just three classes is not nearly enough. More options here would make the gameplay more varied. Also, the vehicles were a bit clumsy to say the least. But it’s all part of the game. Everything here is bigger, heavier and has more armour and firepower. It’s like mining trucks with mini-nukes. I miss the ability to pilot air vehicles as well. But again, it’s not what the game is about, none of the included levels can handle it etc. I’m guessing that it is a trade-off for being as graphically heavy as this game is. I.e. the levels are kind of “flat” in a way. Supporting a maximum of 64 players in these environments has got to require some sacrifices.

Technically however the game seems very complete. No glitches. No lockups. Very smooth with my setup (which is fast but not exactly cutting edge anymore).
Anyway. It is probably the gameplay that makes the game stand out. From what I can tell there is only one mode, namely “XMP”. It is built around a sort of one-way CTF. You are to make it to the enemy base, gather a kind of artifact and get it back to your base. So far it’s fairly standard. However, there is one snag to that seemingly easy task. You need power to do it. Without a power source to charge your team’s equipment you wont be able to register the artifact. Also power makes vehicles and makes recharge terminals, mine fields and defense guns tick. So the first thing you have to do is to “hack” a generator and defend it. You can also hack spawn points to be able to deploy your team more efficiently.
This could be a winner. It all depends on what other games it will be up against. I wouldn’t call it perfect but it is a game that you could get interested in. At any rate, it worked for me.
