Via VE3D: Halo: Combat Evolved 1.01 Patch

According to this it is no longer possible to use the in-game gamespy to show cracked servers. It seems to be the ONLY purpose of this patch.Too bad. Then again I bet this will be fixed with the REAL 1.01 update (by FLT).

Update: It’s already out - FairLight DOX Halo 1.01 update incl. public server patch. Get it from SUPRNOVA.

Haha. Objective failed. This is the first time I can remember that something like this has been orchestrated. They must be pretty desperate. I would advise Gearbox et. al. not to attempt this again. Go do some real work like tweaking the engine instead.
