One of the most annoying things people do when online is that they use abbreviations and insanely long acronyms that are often less than coherent.
As with all things they must be used with modesty. I am sure there are people out there who master this as a second language. But ICGAFF. Yes really.

The question is when (not if) these terms will start to leak into the real world. And I mean on a professional level. I would be interested in knowing where this is going. If people use more acronyms on the net now than a couple of years ago and if certain groups are more prone to adopt such practices.
