Battleangel

Quite a busy time for gamers. Last week had an impressive release schedule and the games just keep on coming. Some good but most of them crap as usual. Noteworthy releases in the last couple of days include:

- Lords of EverQuest (c) SONY Online Entertainment
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (c) Konami
- Terminator 3: War of the Machines (c) Atari
- Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time (c) Ubi Soft

I’m barely able to keep up here but I did try out War of the Machines, which I found to be a quite fun little game. It’s exactly like Battlefield 1942 only with terminators. The game has some major flaws that will prevents it from ever reaching the top of the review pile but it is entertaining in some strange way. A bit like the game Mobile Forces that everyone kept whining about.
The only sure bet seems to be Prince of Persia. Those who have played it have been ecstatic. I don’t know though. Sounds like one of those puzzle and fight games that will drive you insane. I still remember how PoP played on the old Atari platform.
