X2 seems to have gone gold during the night. Or leaked to be more accurate. And no .. it has got nothing to do with “X-Men 2”.
In fact, if you’ve missed all the hype, X2 is a big ass space simulator a la “Elite”. There is already some speculation whether X2 will perhaps even dethrone the ageless classic. Suffice to say it will probably kick the crap out of Wing Commander, Freelancer, EVE and such.
