I’ve sort of finished the code for the webcam. So here it is. It’s also a showcase of what you can do with the GD libraries. I might shift from reading PNG overlays to using TTF functions in the future. But for the moment I like the extra flair that image overlays can provide.
And btw. […]

It took me a while to dig through the CVS repository for VideoDB and I also had to give up some of the thoughtless customization I had done but it was all worth it. The IMDB functions are up and running and importing is once again a breeze.
Via FARK: Secret Russian weapons“ still terrify Americans
Ok, I’ll have to admit that it is a profoundly stupid title for an article. If it can be called an article even. All it does is list a number of not so secret but rather forgotten and unfunded missile systems that would be far more terrifying could […]
It seems now that the introduction of university fees is all but inevitable. A poll that was released recently claims that 12 out of 15 universities in Sweden seem to think so anyway.
The recent shift in policy comes after the UK votes to pass the Higher Education Bill program. The laws will most likely go […]

I obviously use it to populate a file “npvars.txt” […]
I must say I’ve just about had it with the snow plow placing a virtual wall of snow in front of the driveway. Stop doing that you retards. Since this season I’ve started to shovel the big icy chunks of brown snow back onto the road. Hopefully it will mess up something for someone. That […]
### It seems that the official Stargate Atlantis website has finally been updated with some real content. Ok, so it’s just a poster but nevertheless. For more info I saw a real spoiler report over at one of the fan sites, Gateworld. The series is set to debut some time in July according to the […]
The last time I saw Tom Cruise on the big screen was in Minority Report I think. The projects that he chooses to get involved in these days are few and long in the making. And with very few exceptions I tend to be favorable to both his background work and acting. I mean, lets […]
