Bomber art attack take 2

BBC: Bomber art attack furore spreads

At first this story, which is now almost a week old seemed to be going nowhere. But as is the nature of media and politicians, it is never really over when you think it is over.
Yet another person who reveals his true colors, disgraces his country in the process and is then backed by an equally feeble prime minister. As much as Israel keeps crying “wolf”, they seem to be the best at realizing their worst fears and reinforcing feelings of anti-Semitism so long harboured in Europe.

An act of stupidity I can accept but when ppl stand by it and refuse to repent even in the face of overwhelming evidence, they do attract my wrath.

Even if we disregard the fact that this is all about a certain small but arrogant middle-east country, this kind of behavior is indeed unacceptable. As phrased by our own, more coolheaded, prime minister, this is not proper conduct of a career diplomat. Zvi Mazel himself says he followed his heart. Maybe he should have used his head. Ahh, how hate, fear and believed insecurity can twist a man’s mind. In the end these people are doing the state of Israel a great disservice.
