From ExtremeTech: Inside Microsoft’s New Digital Photo Project

Seems simple enough. The primary goal is to combine images with GPS coordinates. Shouldn’t be entirely impossible to do with EXIF (it’s already in the spec) and an extended PHP EXIF metadata parser.
Anyway, the WWMX online virtual map looks extremely cool. The perfect way to document any journey. Too bad I never get an offer to hike across the US with a digital camera and a GPS.
