New Scientist: MP3 creators to add copy protection
This goes into the lame-ass department. As pointed out in the article, no one will use the format anyway, and if they do there is no such thing as a copy “protection”. A temporary copy hindrance at best.
New Scientist: ‘Ripper’ software circumvents DVD ruling
The funniest thing is that this appears as news on many established sites. Who would have thought that the net is full of free software that gets the job done anyway.
And because it is free and already widespread, virtually uncontrollable by toothless court rulings. Haha. That revelation has got to hurt.
