While I haven’t figured out how to get the site back with Google permanently, I did notice one interesting thing as I installed the NP_Related plugin. I was browsing thru item 910 (one about the new Nightwish album that I wrote three days ago) and saw that I was listed top 5, and among the [...]

I’m currently bugging my hosting company to compile and add support for iconv and the exif functions. We’ll see how that goes ..
In case anyone is wondering, I need the iconv() or similar for the NP_Related plugin. Maybe I can rewrite it with some function that I do have but I don’t see the [...]
BBC: EU backs tighter rules on piracy.
I see some people don’t know when to back off. If it’s a war they want, they will have one on their hands before they know it.
The final vote on the EU Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Directive took place in the European Parliament on 9 March. The directive [...]
One thing in particular caught my interest this morning. A report to the Swedish Counsel of Science that concluded research (focus on medical research) being performed in Sweden today has lost all hope of being free and impartial. This is due to the fact that government subsidizing is no longer enough to keep the wheels [...]

The best source of information at this point is probably the Production I.G [...]

Spent the better part of the evening hacking a friend’s Sony NS330 DVD player using the information available here, a palm pilot and Omniremote. While easy in theory, I find handhelds to be quirky. Maybe it’s just me.
And while on the subject of palm remote software suits, there is also NoviiRemote. The software seems more [...]
Hah. Just as a response to those out there who feel the world revolves around Disability Access Programs. It can be as easy as this. Not because I have to or because I agree but because I can.
Ultimately I will use the technique to provide various design schemes within the same framework. Since CSS can [...]
While seemingly insignificant, the invalidation of the align=absmiddle value has caused great discomfort for me. And I have kept using it regardless that it is not in any of the active html versions. But enough is enough and I finally got around to do a CSS replacement:
.absmiddle {
