Obviously it’s a crap game but I started laughing uncontrollably for some reason when I saw that the game had been released. Basically it’s a promo for John Deere stuff posing as a farming sim. And even the idea of a farming sim is slightly boring. Nevertheless it’s a good laugh. Btw, I wonder if they have lawn mowers in the game? Hmm. Tried the game and found no mowers. Just farming equipment. Crude interface and very basic gameplay. Not to mention that it’s banjo hell all the way. If they had taken the project seriously and made a real farming simulator I might have been more interested. Sim games are few and far apart these days. The days of Maxis and their SIM series seem like a long time ago.

What I really think someone should do is an apartment management game. You know, pesky tenants, littering, making due with crappy tools and changing garbage bags. Cleaning the pipes and taking care of all sorts of vital repair duties such as listening for weird noises that people claim they hear and explaining why it’s not a good idea to flush tampons or toilet fresheners. Life and death decisions like if one should trim a hedge or sit an extra 15 minutes in the lunch room. Could also be a driving simulator that deals with getting around in the tin can that is the Peugot Partner diesel version. Sounds thrilling doesn’t it?
