Bathroom Nemesis

For a long time now I’ve been really dissatisfied with my WC installment. I know what you are gonna say. So yes, it’s really a problem worth elaborating on. And here is why …
Generally there are three types of WCs (water closets / toilets) on the market today. One that is mounted on the floor, one that is mounted on the wall and one that is embedded in the wall. I have the wall mounted kind with a cistern that is not embedded. Kind of like the toilet to the right, only an older model. Same brand though, Gustavsberg series Nordic 23xx.

Lets just put it like this, it’s a bend-ing problem. What happens in this case is that the “angle of descent” becomes too shallow and thus often ends up a source of obstruction for the flow. And the bend kind of bends too quickly too, which is logical since it is supposed to go directly into the wall, building as little as possible down towards the floor. Bottom line: Things end up getting stuck. Or maybe I’m just doing to much fibres at the moment. Oatmeal and all.

Over the years I have had continuous problems with WCs everywhere I’ve been. Especially France for some reason. It’s been more than once that I have caused a plumbing breakdown. It’s the curse of the backed up WC. My bathroom nemesis.
