King of the shifting sands

So, once every summer there is usually one or two big music attractions touring Sweden. Mainstream pop stuff of the indigenous kind. No need to elaborate on the exact details of that. It’s a travelling spectacle with music for the masses.
Anyway, as I have probably made abundantly clear in the past, I have little patience for folly like this. It sickens me how the city is bending over backwards to accommodate this stupidity. Not only do they jeopardize a scenic area by thousands of clumsy feet and drunk retards littering. An area that should very well be a nature reserve and a protected nesting ground for several species of birds.
Second, nearby installations including the massive hospital are opening up for parking. I even read the internal memo being sent around the hospital. And I’m not impressed. Just assuming that employees and clients (patients) are to accommodate this barrage of rejects and accept the inconvenience is downright appalling.
Thirdly, while not specific for this time or place, I happened to read an article in today’s paper about the concert. It stated that all attendees were subject to frisking. That caught my interest. And especially since, at the bottom of a very long list of prohibited items were audio / video recording devices. I need not point out what my opinion is on the matter. I’m an opponent to intellectual property and this is (normally) a public place. Do the math. In fact I haven’t been so infuriated in a very long time. Not so alive. So full of darkness and clarity.

If I had more time and commitment I would make it a priority to assure that this would be the last outdoor concert in these parts … ever.
