Battleangel

So … another long-winded sci-fi series that I can put behind me. Started watching it years ago but never quite got past more than the first season. Thanks to the wonders of broadband and the BitTorrent protocol, that has been possible to remedy.

As someone pointed out, the entire show, five whole seasons worth, is like one long synopsis. Often going nowhere or at best in circles. Still, one has to appreciate the determination from the crew. If you overlook all the whimsical episodes and repetitive story lines it is a quite nice little series. The concept is great even if the many arcs aren’t really tied into the “Final Conflict” in any sensible way. A Conflict by the way that leaves one yawning. Still, the spirit of the series is impossible to ignore.
