Brief Downtime

Not gonna give up so easily, but I am looking around for affordable hosting just in case it all falls apart permanently.

It seems that recently when I come to your site its down. I visit once a day about.

I think you really need a new server. FWIW I use Verio.

    Yeah, I know.

If I’m reading Verio’s site correctly, my yearly fee is what they charge per month. But then again I have server problems ;) Still, it USED TO work pretty well. And it might still. Hosting at this price is not impossible at all. But it is cutting it close and not all companies can handle it apparently.
Not sure what backend my host (99kronor.com) has but they are most likely a reseller for some US server farm. Similar to http://www.surpasshosting.com/

Going to hold out a little while longer. Moving the entire site is quite a hassle.

Do you know about alal’s service?

It can give you a good history of your site uptime.

No I had not heard of it. Good idea. Thanks. Nice and clean page also. Not much in terms of distraction.

Signed up right away. I’ll get back to this later and see how the server fares.

Btw. The uptime tracker has been active for about a week now:

One really bad day but overall not as bad as one would think.
