So. No EUCD for you! According to Swedish media who have been in contact with the Swedish “justice” department, the law (which is not ready yet and thus difficult to speculate about) will come into play July 1st 2005 (possibly) or January 1st 2006 (likely).

At any rate, who gives a rat’s ass? The public opposition has grown so strong by now that any legislation to that effect will be pointless. And there are people who are willing to do a lot more than just talk. The ranks are swelling. Attracting all sort of extremists and building a power base for the struggle to come. How far will we have to go? Will we in the end have to form a militia to protect our freedom from foreign oppression, corporate fascism and domestic spinelessness?

The corporate world is already growing restless though. They threaten us with baseless law suits, long before a law is even finalized nor accepted by parliament. At least we have that much in common, neither of us respects democracy … How’s that for irony?
