Thank god for the eastern expansion of the EU. The Polish government had the guts to say no thanks to the draconian legislation even though pressured by such prominent players as Sun, Novell, HP and Microsoft.
It it now more than likely that the EUCD (built upon the WIPO, built upon the DMCA or whatever) will FAIL. Thanks to some good old common sense. And the fine example of a country that prevailed under decades of occupation and obviously knows oppression and the value of civil rights.
