It seems that several torrent trackers, including Lokitorrent, and others, have been under attack from an unknown assailant. The DDoS attacks have effectively demonstrated the pitfall of centralized servers or trackers. Pathetic at best, this will only serve to galvanize those, like me, who run BitTorrent on a daily basis and have been doing so for the last year and a half. Once the assailant has been identified, he or she is likely to get a return DDoS that will cripple their entire backbone for weeks. Lets just hope that it’s not the industry being this stupid.

About Exeem. I’ve actually played around with Exeem a bit since I applied for a test position at Suprnova. Can’t say it’s working very well yet, but once they take the plunge and switch and more users will arrive, business will be booming no doubt. I’m really not the ideal beta tester that way.
