Miranda IM v0.4 RC 1 Release Announcement.
Finally some news from the Miranda developers after months of the nightly builds being down. I’ll see if I find time to try it out, but with all the 3rd party plugins I’m running, I’m not too optimistic. A full backup would be prudent.

- Contact list painting was too disk I/O intensive
- Many database bug fixes (corruptions, bad input checking)
- Database I/O improvements, caching
- Database and contact list control moved to plugins
- Relative paths for icons, sounds, and contact list background
- MSN: MSNP10 support
- MSN: Avatar display/set support
- MSN: better file transfer support, direct/peer2peer, reverse
- MSN: Show phone numbers
- MSN: Stability improvements
