Just a reminder that the DVD release date for the first season of MacGyver is just days away (Jan 25). See this rather old note from TVShowsOnDVD for more info. It has also been made available on the net, as is evident from NFOrce. Three more seasons will follow in 2005 and the remaining three will be released in 2006.

From what I have heard the release is lacking somewhat in the quality department, but what can one expect from a 20 year old TV series. Also, it should be noted that there are no extras. Maybe that will change with later releases.
