LifestreamYet another clist plugin for Miranda, in addition to the clist_mw and clist_classic that are already packaged with the RC2. Clist_nicer promises a new curvier interface and ultimately, a more or less free form contact list.
There is thread here with some screenshots of what can be accomplished using clist_nicer.
Maybe it’s just me but I can’t get it to work – at all. I can change the colors and load the wallpaper in the clist but beyond that I’m paralyzed. No nice round corners. I removed the other clists, fiddled with the settings in TweakUI but to no avail. Maybe it’s something with the RC2 build (Feb 1 2005) I’m running. The nightly builds page is now offline for the foreseeable future. Also, development of Miranda and the core plugins (those not developed by other developers) will slow down/stop for a while. Our real lives take precedence over Miranda right now. Other development (MSN, Yahoo, ICQJ, Tabsrmm, etc) will continue as usual AFAIK. Please bear with us until everything is back to normal.
I did also install the latest tabsrmm_unicode but wasn’t so impressed. Couldn’t get used to the change. It’s also about how one uses instant messaging. I’m not the chatty type. One container window and one person is quite enough.
