Haven’t tried it out. Gamespot has got serious reservations though. Sparsely populated. Sluggish even on high end systems. Clunky feeling combat. Lack of variety. Doesn’t feel that different from other online RPGs. The list goes on …
And this latest hype about hiring actors to get the world moving is quite frankly dull. Not to mention expensive. I wish they’d concentrate on the task at hand, i.e. creating a fun online experience that can stand on its own without CPR. A game first and foremost, not some overpriced social chat program. After all it’s a $14.99 a month experience.
All in all very counterproductive, talk about demons of stupidity. For crying out loud, it’s time to cut that subscription fee in half. And try to give the gamers (not roleplayers) something that they want. Less RPG, more action. Then we can talk about it.
