Yeah, I’ve had it with flash content and ads. I would recommend everyone to install Flashblock for Mozilla / Firefox. This has to end. I don’t think there is any software that is so overused as Macromedia Flash is today. Even with broadband, it slows down page load times (it’s not like those ad servers are particularity fast you know). And with constantly more advanced and interactive content, even a reasonably modern computer is gonna come to a crawl.

I thought we had come a long way since those “punch that freakin monkey” days. But it has in fact become much worse as more and more of those hip PR people realized that they could use Flash to sell their message.
