Guild Wars is gold and on the verge of launching.
Guild Wars takes the best elements of today’s massively multiplayer online games and combines them with a new mission-based design that eliminates the tedium of those games. Will there be a subscription fee for Guild Wars? Are there any other fees, such as for patches or updates?There will not be a subscription fee of any kind, anywhere in the world and there are no hidden fees. You will not have to pay for the streaming updates that will take place on a regular basis, nor for additional content that we will provide between the chapters of Guild Wars.
Take that World of Warcraft.

I need working key for GW or some kind of program to be able to play single player without entering the key, the game is way too expensive (half of my salary) :confused: so i don’t think i’ll buy it
Since the issue of keygens has been brought up a couple of times now I must assure people that I have no further insights into the game than YOU have. I haven’t even played Guild Wars sadly. The truth of the matter is I don’t play online games any more because I can’t afford to lose the bandwidth (bittorrent you know, gotta get those big files, kind of an obsession).
I have done some casual browsing for a keygen but found none. That doesn’t mean that there isn’t such a thing … but really … what are the chances of generating a key that is registered but not already in use? It’s the same thing with all "massive" online games that not only connect to but play on a central server. Thankfully, at least with Guild Wars there isn’t a monthly fee and that is a positive development.
